Stephen Foster Culture Center State Park – White Springs, FL – a museum and lots of dioramas on the Foster’s songs

Florida Caverns State Park – Marietta, FL – an  extremely nice Florida state park with terrific underground caverns  

Eastbank Campground – COE campground that is just inside Georgia on Lake Seminole. Due for a major renovation in 2010.

Stephen Foster Folk Culture SP – great place to spend an overnighter or several weeks – carillon plays Stephen Foster music every two hours during the day

Rainbow Springs SP – completely renovated campground area, for the second time, pristine springs and riverfront area – water is 71° year around.

Silver River State Park – Florida state park with many hiking trails, canoeing and kayaking on the Silver River and close to Ocala, FL

Falling Waters State Park – tallest waterfall in Florida

Big Lagoon State Park – Right on the Gulf of Mexico inland waterway

Rainbow Springs State Park – completely renovated campground in 2009 and crystal clear Rainbow River

Amicalola Falls State Park – Dawsonville, GA – home to the Southeast’s tallest waterfall, steep grade roads leading to campground

Cloudland Canyon State Park – Rising Fawn, GA – deep canyon near Lookout Mountain in the northwest corner of Georgia

Kolomoki Mounds State Park – Blakely, GA – excellent historic mounds and artifacts from the second to sixth century life of Native Americans
